Zany Griffiths piles the pressure on Still to keep him up for set-pieces

Crazy Hatters full-back Scott Griffiths was so overjoyed at scoring his first Hatters goal that he admitted he had no idea how to celebrate, writes Mark Wood.

The zany defender even did his official post-match reaction for the club in Happy Harry’s head as he finally got off the mark for the Hatters.

He said: “But I will try and get used to it, I’ll try and get in the box again, but next time I might have something prepared!”

It was the 28-year old’s first goal since August 2009 and only his fifth in over 300 appearance and he’s hoping that will help to convince boss John Still to keep him up for set-pieces.

He said: “The pressure’s off now, but it’s on for the gaffer to keep me up for corners!”
