Watkins on target once more for Eastleigh

Luton’s loan men had mixed experiences at the weekend with starlet Adam Watkins again grabbing the headlines.

The Eastleigh sub fired home an equaliser deep into stoppage time as they drew 1-1 Bath City in Blue Square Bet South on Saturday in a game that saw Alex Lacey play in the centre of midfield and at left-back.

Bare-chested Watkins celebrated his drive high into the goal in shirt-twirling euphoria at Twerton Park.

Wayne Thomas was an unused sub as Rochdale drew 2-2 with Port Vale in League Two, Greg Taylor played the full game as Mansfield lost 2-1 at Braintree in the Blue Square Bet Premier and James Dance was an 85th-minute sub as Nuneaton beat Hyde 3-1.
