Watkins said: “I’ve got few clubs interested and quite a few options which is healthy.

“I’ll make a decision in the next few weeks and hopefully it will be the right one.

“I’ve spoken with them (Dunstable) and they’re an ambitious club for what level they are, they want to go in the right direction which is appealing for me.

“I’ve got other options and I need to sit down with my dad and a few other people and make a decision

“It’s time for me to go and play some games now like I did at Eastleigh. It’s obviously sad to leave the club after you’ve been there so long and supported, but so it’s a new chapter for me, time to move on and I reallly wish the club all the best.”

Watkins confirmed he will be back at Kenilworth Road as a fan thoug, adding: “Of course I’ll go back to watch them. It’ll be a little bit strange, but I’ll soon get back used to it and it will be good to see them do well.”
