The 23-year-old forward started only his second game of the season against Wrexham on Saturday after being hit by a succession of injuries since joining the club last term.

He lasted 85 minutes and felt no ill effects afterwards as Wall said: “I haven’t shown anyone really, maybe glimpses in training, of what I can do.

“The injuries have been a hindrance this season, but I’ve been working really hard with Dave Richardson and hopefully I can stay fit and help the team anyway I can.”

Wall led the line well and enjoyed a far better time against Wrexham than his trip to Wales earlier in the campaign where he was shown a straight red just 19 minutes after coming on.
