Walker unsurprised by Town changes

Walker was signed by ex-boss Richard Money and was on his fourth manager when he was released this summer, so believes the changes in playing staff have had to mirror the changes at the top.

He said: “Three years I was there and there’s been huge changes management-wise as John Still is the fourth manager.

“There’s been a lot of changes to the squad too.

“I think it’s just the normal thing with clubs like Luton because there is such a pressure to get out of the league.”

Walker remains grateful to Luton for giving him is first break in the professional game and is looking forward to locking horns against his old team-mates next season.
