Walker at the double as Hatters down Colchester

ATTACKER Dan Walker netted twice as Luton Town reserves won 2-1 at Colchester United in their final Combination clash of the season yesterday afternoon.

The visitors took the lead on 36 minutes when Walker collected Alasan Ann’s pass and beat keeper Shaun Phillips from 15 yards with an angled drive.

Walker doubled the lead just 48 seconds into the second half when he slammed home from close range, while Ben Coker grabbed a late consolation.

Hatters: Kidd, Gleeson, Blackett, Nash, Beckwith, Lacey, Boucaud, Blake, Ann, Walker, O’Donnell.
