Alex Witham had put the Waders ahead just after the interval, before Town substitute Zane Banton levelled with virtually his first touch on the hour mark.

With no extra-time, it was left to penalties to decide the outcome and after Max York and Callum Lewis scored for Waders, while Kevin Kilroy missed, JJ O’Donnell, Charlie Smith and Zane Banton netted for Luton, although Indu Aujil had his effort saved.

Needing to score, Lee Allinson then scooped over the bar, meaning it was Luton who were crowned champions.
