The club ended five long years in the Conference in some style, beating Forest Green Rovers 4-1 in front of more than 10,000 adoring fans.

Skipper Ronnie Henry proudly held the trophy aloft as the champagne corks popped, before a pitch invasion saw players carried off on the shoulders of supporters.

The squad then took to the directors box to show their thanks, with Matt Robinson performing his Champions rap, while both manager John Still and Henry addressed the thousands of supporters.

More than 3,000 fans are expected to create another party atmosphere when Hatters finish their season with a trip to already-relegated Hyde on Saturday.
