Town keeper Mark Tyler wants to be between the posts in the Football League once more after declaring he has no intentions to retire.

The 37-year-old, who has made 230 appearances for Town and confirmed he had received a contract extension for another year, said: “Definitely. I’ve looked after myself this year, played every game too.

“Daz our kit man has been brilliant with me, Simon (Parsell) the physio, and our chiropractor who’s been my rock and kept me in shape this year.

“We’ve got a proper fitness coach in Dave Richardson, he’s been superb and lets me do what I need to do.

“Jeff (Wood, goalkeeping coach) has been great this year too.

“It’s nice when you’re winning because everything’s a lot easier and we’ve got some great people at this club.”
