Turner: League return key to Town talent flow

NEWLY-APOINTED Hatters head of youth Wayne Turner believes if Town’s first team could return to the Football League it would help with the flow of talented youngsters into the senior ranks, writes Mark Wood.

With Luton looking to secure an EPPP grade three status, their burgeoning youth set-up is currently running alongside the first team – but at different levels.

Tarum Dawkins, Cauley Woodrow, Dave Moli, Michael Cain and the Dasilva brothers have all made the step up to Premier League and Championship teams in recent times.

Turner remains confident there’s plenty of talented youngsters progressing at the club and has backed some to make an impression on the first team soon.
