Trio released by Hatters

HATTERS boss Paul Buckle has begun reshaping his Hatters squad by releasing Danny Crow, Shane Blackett and Dan Gleeson.

The trio were all out of contract at Kenilworth Road and have not been offered new deals at the club.

Crow arrived in the summer of 2010 from Cambridge United, scoring 17 goals in 70 appearances, including nine this season, but hasn’t featured since Buckle took over.

Gleeson joined at the same time as his former U’s team-mate and played 54 times for Luton, although injury restricted him to 12 games this season.

Blackett signed for Town from Peterborough in 2009, and had been on the bench for all of the matches since Buckle was appointed, but is now also looking for a new club.

The defender made 51 appearaces for Town, but missed large chunks of the past two seasons with injury problems too.
