Town’s trip to Nuneaton called off

A statement on Boro’s official website said: “It will come as no surprise that Nuneaton Town’s clash with Luton Town, due to take place at the Triton Showers Community Arena tomorrow, has been postponed.

The decision was taken because the pitch is frozen and covered in snow.

“The police, who sit on the Stadium Advisory Group, had already asked for the match to be postponed due to the dangers for supporters approaching the stadium due to underfoot and approach road conditions.”

Town are due to host Lincoln City at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday evening.
