Hatters' players are hopeful of celebrating again next season

Town lifted the Skrill Premier title at Kenilworth Road on Monday and will hope to follow in the footsteps of both Crawley and Stevenage, who went straight up again after winning the Conference.

Captain Ronnie Henry was part of the Boro side who won promotion again and believes Town have an even better chance than his old club.

“I did it with Stevenage, we went up to League One, with this fanbase we can go further.”

Popular defender Steve McNulty also tasted promotion with former Conference champions Fleetwood Town and added: “Take it from me, we won’t be going there to make the numbers up. We’ve got a gaffer behind us and this club isn’t going to stand still.”

Andre Gray, Mark Tyler and Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu also agreed with their team mates and to read the full story, see the Luton News/Dunstable Gazette on sale now, while for all the latest Luton Town FC news, reports, stats, player profiles, live match updates, MOM poll, prediction table and a complete fixture list, visit our Hatters Microsite.
