Hatters assistant boss Terry Harris confirmed that the out of contract players at Kenilworth Road will learn their futures shortly.

The likes of Ronnie Henry, Mark Tyler, Solomon Taiwo and Anthony Charles, will all become free agents in the summer.

Henry confirmed exclusively to the News/Gazette he wants to lead the club in League Two and when asked if he would like to see the skipper stay, Harris said: “Yes, I think they’re in the throws of talking anyway.”

On the other players, Harris continued: “With regards to next season with discussions of contracts, they have really been put on hold for the last couple of weeks anyway.

“We’ve just focused on getting over the line which we did.”

Meanwhile Norwich City midfielder Cameron McGeehan is another who Town will explore the potential of re-signing as he is due to return to Carrow Road after Saturday’s trip to Hyde.

The 19-year-old has made quite an impact during his time at Luton, and on trying to capture him permanently, Harris added: “Most definitely, John’s going to have to liase with Norwich in regards to Cameron.

“But we’ve got players coming through the system too. When we played the other day, apart from Mark Tyler our average age was about 21 years of age, which is fantastic.
