Town trio pour praise on Hatters’ travelling army
Town played their fifth successive away game on Tuesday night, with 728 fans making the trip to Braintree to make up almost half the gate as they had done at Welling on Saturday.
Those in attendance witnessed a performance laden with real heart and desire as Hatters banished memories of their previous two visits to Cressing Road with a 2-1 victory, urged on by their vocal fans.

“That last 10 minutes when we needed a bit of help, we got a bit of help because they were really, really good and they were really appreciative of the work they were doing.
“My theory about the team, they’re part of our team and as much as I’m proud of the players, I’m proud of the supporters for being part of the team.”
Goalscorer Andy Parry, who netted his third goal of the season, added: “It was fantastic support by them, even at the weekend when we went out of the FA Cup.
