Town set to sign a defender on Monday

Hatters boss John Still has confirmed he will bring a defender into the club on loan on Monday, writes Mike Simmonds.

Recalled centre half Janos Kovacs was substituted after an hour due to a hamstring injury, but Still told the press afterwards: “I’m not 100 per cent sure (on Kovacs), he’s feeling his hamstring.

“But that won’t be a problem as I would think I’m bringing a defender in on Monday, so we’ll be able to cover that.

“I’m not giving any clues just yet, we’ll do that on Monday.”
