Town must show killer instinct

HATTERS boss Gary Brabin has urged his side to start killing teams off if they are to win promotion, writes Mike Simmonds.

Town squandered a lead for the fifth time this season as Stuart Fleetwood’s first half goal was cancelled out by Liam Hughes’ 77th minute strike.

The result saw Hatters fall nine points behind leaders Wrexham and are now two points outside of the play-offs too, but Brabin said: “We feel as a group that we’re not a million miles away.

“Beforehand you could hide behind the injury situation, that’s coming to an end now, although we’ve still got a couple of key players out.”
