Town cancel Samuel’s contract

The 30-year-old, who signed on transfer deadline day, has struggled to settle into life at Kenilworth Road following his move from Scotland.

Samuel, a Trinidad & Tobago international, made just one substitute appearance at Bath City in his time at Luton.

Town boss Gary Brabin told the club’s official website: “Collin’s been a terrific lad with a great attitude around the place and whilst the formula between both club and player hasn’t quite worked out as hoped his contribution around the environment has been commendable.

“We wish Collin well and whoever invites him in will receive a player in a very fit and healthy condition.”
