Taylor stays at Tamworth as Adam returns

On-loan Luton left-back Greg Taylor has extended his stay at Conference rivals Tamworth for another month, while Adam Watkins has rejoined the club after Kidderminster Harriers didn’t look to renew his deal, writes Mark Wood.

Town boss Paul Buckle was more than happy for Taylor to stay on at the Lamb and believes the loan moves have worked well.

He said: “Both him and Gregger were in training on Monday and Gregger is going to go out there to December.

“While we had a break in development games it made perfect sense. It’s worked well for everyone concerned.

“I think the key is if you are not in the starting XI you have got to have a really good chance of coming on or playing games. Tamworth are really happy with Greggers and want to extend it and I’m happy to do that as we are in very good form at the moment.”
