Sweet confirms Conference closing in on BT deal
The Conference are closing in on a television deal with British Telecom, writes Mark Wood.
After their agreement with Premier Sports came to an end, Town’s managing director Gary Sweet, who is on the Conference board, said: “We are very, very close now to signing up with British Telecom.
“Negotiations are still ongoing but that is very close to being concluded.”

Hide AdHowever, the league still remain without a lead sponsor, although Sweet is sure they will acquire one before the season starts.
