Sweet braced for summer of transfer activity
Hatters managing director Gary Sweet is braced for some frantic transfer activity at Kenilworth Road, writes Mark Wood.

Sweet will working in tandem with boss John Still to secure the boss’s target, as he said: “We’ve got meetings from Monday, Tuesday onwards, we’re starting the projects, so we all like to come back to Kenilworth Road and see there’s been a lick of paint just here and there and see a few improvements. There will be this season.”
“We’re a team, because I can’t value the quality of a footballer. John does that.”
Custodians 2020 have backed every boss in the transfer market since they took charge and, rather than finding it frustrating, Sweet is hoping they are improving.
He added: “I get better at it! The more you do something the more you do get better at it and I think we get better value for players now than we did have.”
