Still was named manager of the month for the second time this season, while Gray took the player award after scoring seven times in his last four games.

The Town manager, who hadn’t been aware of his prize until told by the News/Gazette, said: “I didn’t know that. That’s lovely, that’s nice, awards when it’s for someone who’s part of a team.

“He (Gray) should be looking at the supply and thinking, that’s helped me to do that, it’s the same as I do.

“It’s for all of us. For performing well and being ready.

“It’s lovely. Personal things are nice, but you have to wrap that around the team ethic and say thanks very much.

“That was the last month though wasn’t it, so let’s hope we can be in and around it for the next month and that will tell us we’re still doing well.”

Skipper Ronnie Henry added: “Credit to them. Andre’s been fantastic this year and hopefully he can get the goal tally that he wants.

“The gaffer deserves all the credit he’s getting, because 17 goals and none conceded (in Town’s last three games), not many can do that, so well done to both of them.”
