Striker Andre Gray has been named in the squad to face the Czech Republic U21s at Woking on Tuesday, while Still revealed three players are also on standby.

On Gray’s call-up, Still said: “Individual recognition is fantastic.

“I think we also have a few on standby don’t we, (Andy) Parry, (Mark) Cullen and (Alex) Lacey, which for the individual is fantastic, and for the club it’s always nice to have players that are recognised for what they do.

“I think it’s mostly a young squad they pick and I think it’s well warranted for them, so pleased for them obviously.”

The game is being used by boss Paul Fairclough to help his squad prepare for their opening International Challenge Trophy match against Slovakia in May.

Fairclough added: “Their national football team is currently ranked 25 in the FIFA Rankings and this fixture will feature the cream of the Czech Republic U21s so will expose our players to yet another style of play which can only enhance their experience.

“The squad selected is a hybrid of the players who featured in the last two internationals against Bermuda and Latvia, coupled with some fresh faces who have forced their way into consideration due to their good club form.”
