Still not planning on making wholesale changes for Dartford trip

Hatters boss John Still isn’t expecting to ring the changes despite Town suffering a second defeat in four games at the weekend, writes Mike Simmonds.

When asked if he would consider rotating the squad after tough away matches at Grimsby and Halifax last week, Still said: “Only if I think we should. I left Cameron (McGeehan) out for a couple of games and he was outstanding at Grimsby, not so good Saturday, but he came in and did great.

“Robbo (Matt Robinson) got a couple of goals, he wasn’t so great Saturday but you have to have continuity.

“Sometimes you can make too many changes. If you see an obvious weakness, that’s causing a problem of course you’ll change, but we’ll see.”

One player who won’t be fit in time is Andy Parry as Still continued: “He’s had some injections and now needs to recover from those injections.

“It’s another bit of a blow if I’m honest, Parry, Smudger (Jonathan Smith), Gutts (Luke Guttridge), they’ve been good players for us.

“It would be nice to have them all, but it gives someone the opportunity to show what good players they are.”
