Speaking to the press this afternoon, he said: “We’re going to be in transition, we’re going to be in a massive transition, massive.

“There’s going to be lots, lots of changes, I can tell you that.

“The question that I always have to ask is what players can play for this club in a team to get us out of this league.

“That’s the only key element that I need to focus on. Find out who can and who can’t.

“Sometimes even the ones who can’t, they can’t go before you get people in who can.

“So it’s a process that’s going to be ongoing. When someone quite rightly says how long will it take to get there, I don’t know.

“We will get there, but it might be a year, 18 months, to get all of the components how I want. I hope it doesn’t, but it might do.”

Still has already brought in Jake Goodman, Solomon Taiwo and Alex Wall and may well have another new face in before Saturday’s trip to Wrexham.
The boss also confirmed that winger James Dance has joined Nuneaton on loan until the end of the season and hinted more might follow out of Kenilworth Road too.

He continued: “I’m hoping we can push one or two things through in the next few days or next week, maybe both ways.

“Once I get an idea in my mind about something, I need to try and spin it as fast as I can because I think that’s fair and the best way of doing it.

“I’m making my mind up on different things every day. Hopefully I can try to find one or two things to help us on the road to improve.”
