Still looks for Hatters to sharpen their cutting edge
Working with Town’s forwards should give them the extra sharpness they were lacking in front of goal at the weekend according to boss John Still, writes Mark Wood.
Goalscorer Mark Cullen and last season’s top scorer Andre Gray both missed glorious chances in the 1-0 win at Maidenhead United on Saturday.
Still said: “We haven’t done any work that forwards would look at and say, that’s got me sharp, that’s got me looking at the way I’m finishing. We haven’t done that yet so I don’t particularly look at that yet.
“From now on in, yes we’ll be doing a lot of that work and we should be a little bit sharper around the box.”
