Still left frustrated by Thomas’ Rochdale switch
Hatters boss John Still admitted he has been left frustrated by Wayne Thomas’ loan move to Rochdale, writes Mike Simmonds.
The centre-half joined Dale in the hope of impressing Still and his coaching staff, but has been an unused substitute in the last four games, including Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Port Vale.
Thomas, who is out of contract in the summer, has made just two appearances for Town, including one where he was sent off at Braintree, and when asked if the deal hadn’t gone to plan, Still said: “The answer to that is yes. When I came here he was suspended, so it’s been difficult to see him.”
