Town trailed 1-0 and then 2-1, before a quickfire turnaround that saw Luke Guttridge and Mark Cullen score in the space of three minutes to seal victory.

Still said: “Quality comes in different shapes and sizes, and one quality that you need to win football matches is resilience and another quality is belief.

“We had both of those, so that’s why we won the game.

“Another quality we need is that never say die, and we never stopped going, we kept going and kept going and kept going.

“One of my staff turned round and actually said, that was like a win that my former club (Dagenham & Redbridge) would get because they never ever gave up and that’s another quality that I hope that we’re adding to it.

“I have this thing that I’ve always said and I’ve always believed in, it was taught to me by my pal who’s a boxing trainer, and I think he trained 17 world champions.

“He said the harder you work, the luckier you get and I’m a big believer in that, because I don’t really believe in luck.

“I just believe if you work hard, things fall for you and one thing that we had was the belief and the work ethic, the over our dead body attitude.

“That’s a quality and the first time I’ve really seen it. I said to the players at half time, one of the things that you have to learn to do is come back from being behind.

“We came back from being behind twice, that’s a fantastic quality to have and if we’re adding that to our game, we’ve got another little step further.”
