Still hails Ferdinand signing
The 21-year-old made 32 Championship appearances for Posh last season, but was persuaded to drop down to the Skrill Premier and help Town’s push for the title.
Still told the club’s official website: “When he didn’t start in the team this year, (we thought) could we?

“At the time we couldnt for a couple of reasons, perhaps him wanting to stay in the league, especially as he had a loan spell at Northampton and they were trying to get him back.
“Once we had the situation with Jonathan (Smith), we thought, lets have a go and we’ve managed to make it happen.
“I’m delighted, he’s very good player, great age, it’s I think a great move for us.
“He’s an all action midfield player, great energy, high energy, gets all around the pitch, the sort of player I like. He can come up with a goal too.”

Meanwhile, Ferdinand added: “I’ve heard all good things about the club, they’re moving in the right direction and there’s a good buzz around the place.
“Hopefully we can keep it going. I will add some energy in midfield, up and down, and chip in with a good goal here and there.”
