Jim Stevenson extended his deal at Princes Park until the end of the season yesterday, while Alex Wall is also at the club for a month, with David Martin having recently returned from a spell there too.

Still said: “That has helped as we’ve watched them at Kidderminster and watched them againt Cambridge.

“We would have watched them anyway, but obviously because we’ve had Jim there, we saw them

“I watched Dartford myself at Welling the other day too, so I’ve got a reasonable understanding of Dartford.”

The Darts, who are five points from safety, have just started to hit some kind of form too, winning at Kidderminster and drawing with Cambridge in their last two games.

Still continued: “They are in good form but as always, it isn’t half going to be a tough game, as they all are.

“They’re all competitive and we have to have the right mentality and maintain that.”

Dartford boss Tony Burman is also someone that Still knows well, having managed him earlier in his career as he added: “He used to play for me, he was a good player Tony, a good centre forward.

“He’s a really, really top man, and has done a great job at Dartford.

“But business is business and you have to look after your own team.”

Meanwhile, Dartford have confirmed they are not inspecting the pitch today, but that may change as heavy rain is predicted once more.

A statement on the club’s official website said: “As of 09:55 31/1/14 - we are not planning on a pitch inspection today but will update on here with any changes due to the predicted weather conditions.”
