Still was in charge of the Victoria Road club for nine years and will make his first return there on Tuesday, April 14.

Hatters will have already entertained Daggers at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday, October 21, as Still told the club’s official website: ““Was it the first game I looked out for? Of course it was.

“They are my team and I still live around the corner from their ground.

“It’s a great club and I have a lot of good memories from my time there. I’ve got a loads of friends there still.

“There’s a lot of good people at Dagenham. However, it’s only one team and two matches. They are two games I’m looking forward to the most.”

Still was also keen to see when the Hatters were up against former Premier League side Portsmouth.

Town host Pompey on Sunday, December 28 and then visit Fratton Park on Saturday, March 14.

Still added: “It’ll be two well-supported clubs locking horns and they are going to be two great games.

“The match over Christmas is a match to really get excited about as the atmosphere is sure to be electric.

“After all Portsmouth and Luton are probably the best two supported clubs in the division.”
