Hatters were crowned Skrill Premier champions on Tuesday night and can go into the final three games of the term with the pressure off.

Neither Welling, who Town travel to this afternoon, or Rovers, who visit Kenilworth Road on Monday, have anything tangible to play for, but Still thinks they will no doubt up their game.

He said: “Since I’ve been here, every game is tough as people want to beat Luton.

“They’ll (Welling) want to spoil the party of course they will, so it’s a big game for them.

“It’s the same as Adie Pennock (Forest Green boss), who’s a very, very good friend of mine.

“He’ll be saying, John, we can’t affect you going up, but I want to beat you because you’re the champions and we want to beat the champions.

“Because we’ve won it as well, it makes it extra tough.

“It’s easy to say it doesn’t matter because we’ve won it, but it does matter.

“We’re footballers and we want to go and play football the best we can.”
