Still delighted as McGeehan deal extended
Norwich City midfielder Cameron McGeehan will stay at Kenilworth Road until the end of the season after agreeing to extend his loan, writes Mike Simmonds.
The 18-year-old has impressed during his month with Town, making three starts as Hatters boss John Still said: “He’s not the oldest, but he’s a man and he’s adapted well, fitted in well.
“I looked at him and Pelly (Ruddock Mpanzu) during the second half on Saturday and thought that looks right.
“He gives us something to work with too, we can improve him.”
The fact that McGeehan was determined to stay with Town was a huge plus point for the Town boss too as the Premier League Canaries were happy that their U18 captain was in good hands too.
Meanwhile Still, who confirmed that McGeehan would be fit for Saturday’s trip to Nuneaton, felt a permanent deal could even be something of interest to both parties in the future.
