Still: Christmas time is family time

Hatters host Gateshead this afternoon which starts a run of five games in just two weeks, including matches on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Still said: “If it was down to me, I wouldn’t play over Christmas at all.

“I can’t affect the weather, you might have a break and then in January it teems down.

“I know supporters love it, but this is a personal opinion, nothing else, I think Christmas is family time.

“If Christmas was at a weekend, you might have to suffer it and play Boxing Day, but it’s play Saturday and play Saturday for me, although I understand the reasons why we do it.”
