Still believes Woolley made the right decision with loan move

Hatters boss John Still has backed young striker Jake Woolley’s decision to join Calor Southern League Premier Division side St Neots on loan.

Last Tuesday he netted twice on his debut in a 5-0 win against Hitchin Town in the Red Insure Cup and again at the weekend in their FA Trophy win.

On the 20 year-old forward, Still said: “He needs to get some games. I think some of the young ones it’s important that we can keep them playing and it’s an opportunity for him to go back out on loan having been to Boreham Wood.

“He took it and it’s good for the lads to get the opportunity to play.”
