
The pair spent the last two years at Histon before both joined Luton, and Fitzsimons said: “Jimmy is very reliable, he’s tidy on the ball, puts himself about, has got a good engine.
“He’s good in the air too and is an overall central midfielder.
“He can do box-to-box, mix it up, he’s a good player.
“He scored 11 goals last season and that just proves he can play the holding role and the attacking one, scoring goals too.”
