Sacrifices made worthwhile by resounding win
DESTROYING Kettering Town 5-0 on Saturday made all the sacrifices Town’s stars have been making over the Christmas period worthwhile, writes Mark Wood.
While most people have been enjoying the festivities Luton’s players have been busy making sure they are in tip top shape to take maximum points from the busy Christmas schedule.
Midfielder Alex Lawless said: “It’s not a complaint when you sacrifice things for Christmas when you’ve got a Boxing Day game, but you want to win and justify why you do make some sacrifices and stuff when you can’t see your family or go out with your mates and stuff, but it makes it well worth it then.
