Kit colour will make no difference to Hatters midfielder Matt Robinson who is relishing playing for the Hatters, writes Mark Wood.

Voting for the colour of Town’s home kit for next season ends tonight, with orange and white the options for Hatters fans.

But Robinson was indifferent to the outcome, saying: “I’ll leave that to the Trust! I know the traditional colours are white and navy or white and black.

“But I think the orange does stand out quite a bit, but it won’t be anything off my back if it’s a different colour.

“You’re playing for the shirt and the badge more than anything, not the colour.”

Normal fans are being given one vote, while players have three, and on how he’ll be using his, Robinson added: “I’ll put two for orange and one for white then, just to keep it even!”
