Robinson admits he didn’t know how to celebrate fluke goal
Gobsmacked Matt Robinson admitted he didn’t know how to react after seeing his deep cross loop into the net minutes after coming on in Saturday’s 3-0 victory over Chester, writes Mark Wood.
His ‘bad’ cross turned into a crucial goal as the midfielder notched only his second goal in 36 appearances for the club.
Robinson’s celebrations were confused as a result, as he said: “I think I showed how I felt about the goal in my celebrations, I didn’t know what to do.
“When you hit a banger and it goes in the top corner then you know that you run off and you probably take your shirt off or something!”
