Risks pay off for Brabin

THE risks paid off for Hatters boss Gary Brabin during his side’s 1-0 win at Grimsby Town on Friday night, writes Mike Simmonds.

Striker Tommy Wright hadn’t started a match since he was at Darlington back in May, but after joining Luton last Monday, Brabin opted to throw him in for his full debut and it paid off with the winner.

The Town boss said: “I know it has turned out great that he scored the winner, but there was an element of risk in it.”
