Rendell has his eyes on a title-winners medal

A CONFERENCE winners medal is all that Scott Rendell has in mind after moving to Luton Town from Wycombe Wanderers for an undisclosed fee, writes Mike Simmonds

The 25-year-old, who still had a year left on his contract at Adams Park, is confident of ending Hatters’ three-year exile in the Blue Square Bet Premier and doesn’t want to be messing about with the play-offs, where Luton have come a cropper each year, either.

It’s not just winning the Conference that Rendell has set his sights on though, as he is keen for the Hatters to follow the lead of both Crawley and Stevenage, who have made it back-to-back promotions into League One.
