Pitch inspection planned for Hatters match

The club are confident the game will go ahead after supporters answered an SOS to help clear snow from the covers this morning.

A statement on the club’s official website said: “A pitch inspection will be held on Tuesday morning, carried out by qualified referee, as well as a health and safety check carried out by the Town’s safety officer.

“It is hoped that a decision whether the game will go ahead or not will be reached as early as possible on Tuesday.”

Promotion rivals Forest Green Rovers’ clash with Hereford United has already been postponed.
