Penalty misses are a monkey on the back

MISSING so many penalties is beginning to become a ‘monkey on the back’ for Luton’s players as Aaron O’Connor became the latest player to miss from the spot on Monday.

His effort from 12 yards hit the bar and was the sixth penalty missed by Town this season.

Boss Gary Brabin said: “I heard a couple of people shouting, ‘practice them!’ We do practice penalties. And I think it’s something that once you are taking a penalty now there’s a monkey on their back.”
