The summer signing from Southport came on after 57 minutes for his country during their 2-2 draw with Czech Republic U21s at Woking last Tuesday.

Parry said: “It was a very proud moment, one of my highlights and the best feeling you can get at any level, it was brilliant.

“It was a good experience too, to represent your country at any level.”

When Parry took to the field around the hour mark, the Three Lions were trailing 2-0, although their opponents had been reduced to 10 men.

They fought back to draw 2-2 and the 22-year-old is hoping it won’t be the last time he dons the jersey.
