Osano aiming to cement his Hatters place

KENYAN full-back Curtis Osano knows he has to stay on his game if he wants to hold on to his shirt for the rest of the season, writes Mark Wood.

The 25-year-old right-back enjoyed his best game for Luton in Saturday’s 1-0 win against Kidderminster, but with the likes of Dan Gleeson and Greg Taylor returning to fitness he knows he faces a fight for his place.

He said: “From when I first signed there is a competition for places.

“You make one slip or have a bad game you know in the back of your mind to pick yourself up or someone’s going to take your place.

“You get a shirt, it’s your chance to keep it and hopefully just carry on doing the things you’re doing.

“It doesn’t matter who plays as long as we get there (promotion), that’s my main aim.”
