With Luton leading in the closing stages, midfielder Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu was sent clean through and brought down by goalkeeper James McKeown.

Nothing was given though by the officials despit the linesman appearing to flag, and speaking to the press this afternoon, Still said: “I went in to speak to the ref after the game and he was tied up, so I went okay I’ll come back to you but I didn’t as I thought it’s not worth it.

“He came to find me though as I think he realised he made a mistake.

“The linesman put his flag up and linesman confirmed to him it was a sending off, but when you see the DVD it wasn’t even one of those where you go, I can see why he did that, it was 100 per cent.

“I think the talk in the dressing room between themselves and maybe the assessor might have alerted him, but I give him his due, he came to find me.

“As I pointed out to the referee though, fortunately it didn’t matter and cost anyone, so from that point of view, it was okay.”
