Neilson unsure on his Town future

Hatters assistant Alan Neilson admits he is unsure where his future lies after Town appointed John Still as their new manager on Tuesday, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 40-year-old has been on Town’s coaching staff since June 2008, but Still is expected to bring Terry Harris in as his number two, as both watched on from the sidelines at Braintree last night.

When asked about his position, Neilson said: “We’re all coming in Thursday morning and he’ll (Still) chat with us all then and see where we go from there.”

Meanwhile, Neilson couldn’t shed any further light on the incident that saw Andre Gray storm off while the players were going through their warm down after the match.

He added: “I saw that Andre came in and thought he finished his cool down and all the lads came in afterwards, so I’ll find out what happened about that.”
