Mum’s the word for Luton’s former Foxes midfielder

SIGNING for Luton Town will definitely win Matt Robinson some brownie points where his family are concerned, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 18-year-old, who was released by Leicester City, penned a two-year deal at the club last week and revealed that his mum was a Hatters supporter, who had shown him pictures from the glory days when Luton won the 1988 Littlewoods Cup.

Robinson also explained to the News/Gazette just how the move from the Foxes to Luton came about.
