Morgan-Smith doesn’t feel major change is needed at Luton

OUT-OF-CONTRACT striker Amari Morgan-Smith is confident that Hatters have enough potential in their ranks to win promotion next term, writes Mark Wood.

Around 14 players are without a deal at Kenilworth Road this summer as new manager Paul Buckle has a number of decisions to make, which he started with by releasing Danny Crow, Shane Blackett and Dan Gleeson today.

But the 23-year-old striker is confident the recently appointed Town boss will make the right choices, saying: “I feel he does know what he’s talking about and has been there before.

“Given a full season we should be able to do it with the right players and the right manager behind it.

“I don’t think he should need to add. Obviously new managers will bring in their own players, but I think we’ve got enough here in the squad to do it and hopefully we can go again.”
