The former Luton manager picked a strong side for the clash, while Luton handed a debut to 16-year-old right back Luke Trotman and played the likes of Brett Longden and Ian Rees, with young forward Zane Banton featuring late on.

Money said: “I thought they were excellent, in terms of team sheets, you’ve got to say that I’m sure John (Still) will be very pleased with what their team gave them as they pushed us all the way.

“I thought it was a tough night, on a very heavy pitch. We’ve only got a small group to pick from at the minute, but we’ve won, we’ve gone through, we’re pleased to have gone through and we’ll see where it takes us.”
